1. Responsibility for the maintenance of facilities.

Maintain a list of work projects that need doing. (Anyone interested in contributing to the Church through assisting on these projects are invited to contact the committee.)

1. Nominate individuals to various positions of leadership and service:

Elders who provide leadership of the Body of Christ and attend to matters of membership who are also leaders and examples of godly discipleship as they provide for the proclamation of the Gospel

Deacons who minister to the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of our congregation through faith, prayer or other means in our church

2. Appoint and accept people willing to assist elders and deacons in the Body of Christ

3. Guided by Titus 1:6-9 and 1 Peter t:1-4, we will prayerfully consider who might serve as spiritual leaders. Romans 12:9-18 will be used as a model for the character of the leaders and servants under consideration.

4. Pray for our church family, Pastor, Elders and Deacons using the guidelines found in Colossians 1:9-13

5. Ensure training is avilable for Deacons and Elders to equip them for their responsibilities.
The Worship & Fellowship Committee supports and assists the Pastor in all duties and needs in preparation, implementation and delivery of regular and special worship services. The Committee plans and executes fellowship opportunities at all Church and Special Events where our Church is present. The Committee utilizes Church resources and Church property with good judgment and stewardship to engage members and visitors in quality fellowship time that demonstrates our love of God and God's plan for our happiness. We want to demonstrate God's love for each other and God's love for us through our fellowship and hope that it always leads to a better and closer walk with our Lord.

Our mission is to spread the Word of the Gospel, the sacraments and God's Love and fellowship to the unsaved, unchurched, alienated and less fortunate members of the community of Dexter and surrounding areas through missions of the church. We also focus on providing opportunities for mission for our congregation.

Vacation Bible School is more than Bible learning for our congregation, it's a chance to share God's Word with the children of our community and beyond.
Backpack Blessings is a mission of our congregation, which bears witness to God's Love by providing breakfast, lunch and snacks each weekend to school children in the Dexter School District who face food insecurities. Our goal is to supplement the meals that the children receive while not attending school. Backpack Blessings not only feeds the child, but all members of their household. Through this mission, not only food, but the unconditional love of Jesus is served by our many volunteers who use this opportunity to actively serve and share in ministry.
